Created by The Temperance Spirit Company, Teetotal G’n’T is the first in a range of alternative soft drinks for adults. The brainchild of 3 Yorkshiremen, they saw a demand for soft drinks for non-drinkers that weren’t sweet fizzy pop or fruit juice. Everything they produce adheres to the strict ethos of the company: To produce a quality drink that tastes as good as the “real thing;” to only use naturally sourced ingredients and botanicals; to never use artificial sweeteners and to minimise sugar content.
Made with many common gin botanicals and low in calories, Teetotal G ‘n’ T Botanical Beverage is light and crisp with the unmistakeable tonic bite of quinine. The added botanicals give it a refreshing floral character.

..with Nanny State they knock this non-alcoholic beer thing out of the park. This looks (treacle toffee colour) and smells (piney, resinous, tropical fruits) like serious beer. While the flavour is less well-rounded than in a genuine IPA – it splits too dramatically between gently tarry, smoky flavours and bracing citrus pith/grapefruit bitterness – it is still a fantastic achievement.9/10
Damm Free Lager

As a big fan of the beer of Barcelona’s lager, we were expecting big things from its alcohol-free version. The standard lager is brewed to an original recipe from 1876, and is a quality beer with a bit of bite. This beer is made to the same recipe as its full-strength counterpart, with the alcohol removed using “vacuum distillation”, a process it claims doesn’t change the taste of the beer in any way. This is a pretty faithful version of the original, with the lack of a little warmth being the only clue there’s no alcohol in here. Bubbly, with a lot of taste and complexity, including a slight lemon note, you really could drink this without knowing it was booze-free. Which surely is the point?
